The COVID-19 pandemic ways that companies need to take drastic steps, and Samsung is no different. The producer has announced that it’s momentarily closing all Canadian and United States
stores in a quote to combat the coronavirus outbreak. Samsung exposed the news on its Canadian and United States websites (h/t: Android Central), validating the temporary store closures as of March 17. Both departments mentioned the requirement to safeguard employees and consumers from COVID-19 in their statements.
It’s not all doom and gloom however, as the regional arms verified that their online stores and service groups will be offered. The divisions included that orders will still be satisfied, so you can purchase that Galaxy S20 series phone if you really desire it.
There’s no word on when these shops will be re-opened, but this uncertainty is expected given the circumstances. And you can probably anticipate other tech sellers to momentarily close up store if they haven’t done so currently.
